Paradise Wildlife Park was our destination today. Another modest animal park, this one has some large animals including lions, tigers and their chums. I don't know if it was the hot weather, but there wasn't an awful lot of movement in the big cat enclosures, but we got to see them lounging about. Got a good look at the otters too, which were very cute.

There were penguins but they smelled of old fish and looked like they needed a wash and brush up.

We had planned to visit the Clink Museum in London today, which gives the history of the infamous prison. I don't know if they ever had any escapes, but I can verify that the doors were tightly locked, even after waiting half an hour passed the supposed opening time. We had the good fortune to happen apon "The London Bridge Experince" whlist walking away in annoyance. After getting over our inital horror at the entrance price, it truned out to be a good show, with live actors dressed in period comstume and some neat exhibits.

After a walk and some food we visited the Britain at War Experience, which was smaller than I had expected, but worth a look.

Today we went back to "Tropical Wings" which is a small wildlife park not far from where we live. A nice place for a look round and not bad value for money. The video shows the butterfly enclosure, which is impressive, although rather humid!

Although there are no penguins, there are some quality otters.

Wiglet and I visited the Science Museum today, neither of us have been there for the years of a donkey, so it was good to see the place again. There's a lot to see there, but we think we saw most of the things we were interested in during the few hours we were there. The entrance is free, but a donation is requested, we dealt with this by having a meal in their canteen. £15 for a couple of sandwiches and drinks, so that's £5 worth of food and £5 each donation from us as we look at it.

After leaving the museum we went for a look around Covent Garden and Camden Market. Camden isn't as shitty as I remember it and they have some quality gear for sale there. Looking forward to going back when I have some more cash and it's a little less crowded.

This weather is muffed up, it's supposed to be Spring and it's snowing outside. We didnt have any snow in what was supposedly winter, so maybe it got held up in the post or something and this is a late delivery.

All I know is that it's a bit nippy outside, but at least it looks pretty.

Wiggy and I have treated ourselves to new mobile phones as our old ones were only fit for use as building material. One feature I've been trying out is the camera option.

My cunning plan is that when I go anywhere worthy of mention I'll video some of our time there and upload it to this page, then any interested parties can see for themselves what we get up to, rather than reading me bang on about.

The first time I tried this out was when we visited Prittlewell Priory, which was actually a bit of a rubbish trip as it was raining and the Priory wasn't actually open. Meh, well. here's the vid anyway:

Note to self: try to move the camera around less when filming to avoid inducing nausea in the audience.
