The Original NWN game comes with some fine portraits, but I've found I've had to create my own to get the right look for certain characters. Most of the portraits I've assembled are taken from pictures I've downloaded from the internet. I've posted my work here so that visitors can download my portraits to see them in game, or use them theirselves should they wish. Just download the zip and extract in your NWN/portraits directory. More to come when I can be arsed to do them.
